2005 CNTA Golf Tournament

Seventy golfers enthusiastically worked their way around the Cedar Creek golf course on Friday, September 30th for the CNTA 3rd Annual Golf Tournament. Just over $7500 was raised to support CNTA's ongoing efforts, through the financial generosity of the sponsors, door-prize donors, and the participating golfers.
Motivated by fellowship and prizes, these teams achieved golfing immortality:
- First Place: Jack Clemmens, Jack Gilbert, Bill Humburg
- Second Place: Sterling Robertson, Pete Hill, Mark Mahoney, Ron Oprea
- Third Place: Archie Adams, Jim Stewart, Barry Glover, Todd Scoggin
- Fourth Place: Hayward Barnwell, Craig Baynham, Bill Condon, Doug Wilhelm
Plans are underway for the next golf tournament, tentatively scheduled for Friday May 12, 2006.
A special thanks goes to our tournament sponsor, BWXT Savannah River Company, who will also sponsor the 2006 event. Many thanks as well go to Mike Hoffstatter, Club Manager at The Golf Club at Cedar Creek, and his staff for all of their work. Plus, of course, to Frank Shallo for his hard work as chair of the tournament committee.
