Dr. Hinton holds affiliated faculty positions in the Department of Environmental & Radiological Health Sciences at Colorado State University. Tom specializes in the discipline of Radiation Ecology. He has a Ph.D. in radiation ecology from Colorado State and studied the Chernobyl accident for three years at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland. Most recently, he served as a consultant for the International Atomic Energy Agency and helped to develop a synopsis on the ecological effects of the Chernobyl accident.
